Treatment of Personal Injury Awards and Statutory Funded Care
The long awaited Statutory Instrument 2008 No. 593, entitled "The National Assistance (Sums for Personal Requirements and Assessment of Resources) Amendment (England) Regulations 2008" was laid before Parliament on 11th March 2008 and will come into force on 7th April 2008.
This SI impacts on the treatment of personal injury damages for both residential and home care services.
