The ONS have formally announced that the SOC 2000 classification of ASHE 6115 (Care assistants and home carers) will continue to be published, even though the SOC 2010 will see that classification split in two. For those Orders that have adopted other SOC 2000 classifications, it will be important to check whether there is any discontinuity of data when applying the Revised 2011 figures. ASHE 2011 (1.12.11)

The 2011 ASHE data is out and whilst median gross weekly earnings for all full-time employees was up 0.4% over the year to April 2011, growth in earnings in ASHE 6115 fell for the first time.
